Annie Ross House (NW Housing Alternatives, Inc.)

Mission: “Northwest Housing Alternatives (NHA) creates opportunity through housing. NHA builds and preserves affordable housing for people earning low-incomes including families, seniors and people with special needs. Homeless Intervention Services are provided to families, couples, singles and seniors in Clackamas County through the Annie Ross House and its sister program, HomeBase. Northwest Housing Alternatives’ properties in the Portland Metro area are enriched with Resident Services to provide our residents with opportunities to live healthy and fulfilling lives.”

Human Solutions

Mission: to help low-income and homeless families and individuals gain self-sufficiency by providing affordable housing, family support services, job readiness training, and economic development opportunities.

Resources Provided:Direct Services to Homeless Families: We operate emergency shelter, transitional housing, “Housing First” programs, and permanent supportive housing. Acting on the belief that housing is a basic human right, we move homeless families into permanent housing as quickly as possible and then offer them the supportive services necessary to stabilize their situations and overcome their homelessness.
