Airway Science for Kids

Mission: “The Airway Science program exposes youth, especially those who are socially and economically challenged, to activities that inspire their interest and growth toward higher learning and careers in aerospace, science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.”

Resources Provided:
After school classes for children 10-13 years old and Saturday classes for teens 14-18 years old, with special outreach to the socially and economically disadvantaged or to families perceived to be outside the information and opportunity mainstream. Each teen builds and gets to fly their own RV-12 aircraft.

New Avenues for Youth

Mission: “to work in partnership with our community to prevent youth homelessness and provide homeless and at-risk young people the resources and skills needed to lead healthy, productive lives.”
